Arlington Independent Media produces original programming, incubates and supports programming from our members, and aggregates programming from independent producers. Each of our programs has a unique story to share with its viewers, and represents a diverse collection of viewpoints dedicated to social services, community events, civic affairs, sports, culture, music, film, experimental and beyond.
Programming produced utilizing AIM facilities and equipment is considered in-house, while all other programming is labeled as outside programming. In December 2015, AIM broadened its programming beyond television, and hit the low power FM airwaves. Now, AIM's independently produced radio programs can be heard in Arlington County and into the surrounding areas on WERA-LP 96.7 FM and streaming live on www.wera.fm. For television, tune in locally to Arlington’s cable systems on Comcast channel 69 and Verizon channel 38, or streaming here on the AIM website.
Our cable channels are made possible by a franchise agreement between Arlington County and the cable companies.
