Arlington Independent Media (AIM) Internship Overview
Qualified individuals will receive real-world experience and have the opportunity to participate in the exciting world of both video and interactive community media. If you are interested in video production, community media, television production, and/or small non-profits that focus on empowering communities through media, we want you!
AIM interns are allowed to take the basic workshops and will enjoy a basic membership for one year starting at the beginning of their internship. This basic membership will have the same benefits AND restrictions as for all our members unless specific arrangements have been made ahead of time. Interns should coordinate attending workshops with the supervisor so scheduling conflicts do not arise and all desired workshops are completed within the term of the internship.
We require a 6-10 hour/week minimum. Applicants should be prepared to give this much time and attention to the internship, prioritizing it whether taken for school credit or not. To apply for an internship position with us, please first read the descriptions and find which position best fits your skills, experience, and interest.
