After Effects CC
This six-week workshop provides a complete introduction to visual effects and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects CC. Through instruction and in-class exercises, students will explore the fundamentals of this powerful creation tool. They will learn the skills needed to create projects, masks, and basic animations, as well as importing assets, arranging layers, and exporting projects. A rudimentary knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is recommended before taking this workshop.
About the Instructor:
Kristian Perry is an award-winning motion graphics artist, writer, and video editor at Hillmann & Carr, Inc. He specializes in producing media for museums and educational institutions. His design and editing credits include work for the Smithsonian Institution, The Fort Henry Discovery Centre, the Oklahoma City Memorial and Museum, the Computer History Museum, the National Park Service, the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, and the Sunnylands Foundation Trust. Additionally, Kristian is an adjunct professor at American University where he teaches Motion Graphics and Effects.
